Year 6 today (16th September 2019) went to the Tower of London to learn about their topic ‘Crime and Punishment’. We learnt about the history of the Tower and in particular its use as a prison and in keeping people captive since 1100. We also were lucky enough to take part in a workshop where our guide showed us the rooms and graffiti left by prisoners nearly 900 years ago.
