The Year 4 children had a wonderful time at the Khalsa Jatha Gurdwara. They learned more about the Sikh faith, they were shown the religious holy book and had a vegetarian meal (Langar). It was amazing to see how beautiful and respected their holy place of worship is. They were shown how Sikhs pray, listened to a performance in Punjabi and were taught more about the history of Sikhism. We were also taught how Sikhs meditate and how peaceful this can be. The children really enjoyed the experience!
