Year 4 went on a wild adventure today! We went to Camley Street Nature Reserve to go on a nature hunt. When we arrived the sun disappeared and the clouds poured down on us! We huddled under a teepee for a cosy lunch, it felt like we were camping. Then when the rain calmed down we explored the reserve looking at bee hives, identifying trees, birds and insects in the pond. We saw a heron and a moorhen family, unexpectedly the heron decided the chicks would be its lunch. Year 4 learnt a valuable lesson about the life cycle but it wasn't easy to watch.
