For our topic curriculum we have been learning about Ancient Egypt. We have learnt about the similarities and differences between two periods of time - Iron Age Britain and Ancient Egypt. We compared life, agriculture and settlements. For this lesson, the children wrote a letter back home to Iron Age Britain after they visited Ancient Egypt on holiday. They used tea and water to give their letters that rustic, papyrus reed paper effect.
