Year 3 were having a class debate whether or not Jemmy should go to the visitors' civilised world to experience their culture and learn their language. Each child either 'built on' the previous child's point or 'challenged' their idea with a counterargument. This discussion was solely child led and displays the excellent classroom talk that happens on a daily basis in King Smith.
