Year 3's Natural History Museum Trip

Year 3 went to the Natural History Museum this week to support their learning about rocks. We had the opportunity to see lots of fascinating rocks in real life and learn more about how rocks are formed. Our favourite parts were travelling on an escalator through the earth's core, finding out what it would be like if there was an earthquake and seeing some real fossils of prehistoric sea animals, like ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs. We can't wait to find out more in our science lessons in school!
