Year 2 visited Sutton House to learn about 500 years of Hackney's History under one roof. Sutton House provided the perfect place to learn all about how Hackney has changed through time, linking to our 'Our Local Area' topic this term. The children participated in a Time Machine workshop where they were invited into the Sutton House imaginary time machine, they met people from the last 500 years and then visited some of the rooms they may have lived in.
