Year 2 – Natural History Museum

Year 2 children enjoyed an exciting pond dipping trip to the Natural History Museum. During the visit, they collected pond animals from the museum's wildlife pond and took part in activities designed to develop their observational and classification skills. The children also observed feeding habits and collaboratively constructed food chains to understand how pond animals survive. This experience fostered a deeper understanding of how pond animals live and thrive in their natural habitat.
