Year One has enjoyed reading the Mini Grey text "Biscuit Bear" over the past few weeks. We had a great time making our very own Biscuit Bear cookies and decorating them with icing sugar and delicious sprinkles. Additionally, we wrote a retell of the story using some of the key parts. One of our favorite moments was when Bongo almost ate all the biscuits, but luckily Biscuit Bear saved the day. The children have been focusing on developing their independent writing skills, using grapheme charts and Fred fingers to help with spelling.
