Today Year 1 practised our self aware communication during our PoR lesson. We are planning for our long write tomorrow, which is a narrative we created from the characters when author Jessica Spanyol was in. Today we focused on oral retelling and used our story maps to help retell our stories from start to finish. We showed our partners we were listening by looking and asking questions, then some of us shared our partners stories with the class. We also then used play dough to recreate the story and had to use time connectives to explain it. This is all helping us get ready to write our stories tomorrow!
