Today Year 1 wrote their own poems about the sea inspired by the poem 'Until I Saw the Sea' by Lilian Moore. We used descriptive vocabulary to describe the sea and onomatopoeia to create the mood for the poem.
When we had edited our poems, we published them onto our own works of art we had created during the week. Have a look at our finished pieces!
