To prepare for their science lessons this half term, Year 1 were asked to make a plant using mixed media. Enquiring Ebony had set a challenge to research interesting facts about their plant.
We then began our first science lesson for the half term by learning all about garden plants. We completed observational drawings of different garden plants and then compared their shape, size, colour and leaves. We then went out into the school garden to see what garden plants we could find.
