This week the KS2 choir were very busy! First they sang Christmas carols at Old Street tube station to help raise money for the charity Health Poverty Action. A whopping £616.76 was raised by Shoreditch Park Choir and the other choirs that sang at Old Street tube station.
On Tuesday the choir also sang at a special event hosted by City Year at St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate. They performed alongside a Gospel Choir and City Year members who performed poetry and did some special readings.
Both events were a massive success and I would like to thank Miss D, Miss Benett and all of the children in the choir who have worked exceptionally hard over the last term!
