On Monday 20th March all of KS1 went to the Barbican Centre for an amazing music concert! We travelled from school on the 76 bus and had a packed lunch at the Barbican. We watched the fantastic London Symphony Orchestra who played along to a story called 'Stan and Mabel'. We had learnt the songs so sang along too. We saw the different parts of an orchestra; strings, woodwind, brass and percussion and watched the conductor lead them all. We even had a go at copying him! It was a great day out and we learnt so much about the different instruments that we heard and saw.
