Seuss Class - Black History Month

During October Seuss class (ARP) have been celebrating Black History Month. Pupils learnt about Hackney carnival by dancing to Socca Music and making carnival masks. Children in Seuss class love crafts and are very creative. Their masks are now proudly displayed in the classroom.

During our weekly 'food detectives' cooking class, children visited some of the local greengrocers and bought fruit originating from the Caribbean. They tried pomegranate, papaya, mango and passion fruit and cut it all up to make a healthy fruit salad.
