Spring 1 Focus – Enquiring Ebony
In Spring 1 we have been focussing on Enquiring Ebony. We are developing our thinking, reasoning and questioning skills within philosophy lessons. These lessons help students to concentrate, think ‘outside the box’ and share their thoughts and opinions. As a result pupils are developing discussion and debating skills. They are learning to respectfully probe for further information and challenge their peers. These skills are important across our curriculum, and foster independent learning.
