Each half term we focus on one pillar of Aspire. The Autumn 1 focus was Respectful Rodrick. We had a celebration assembly at the end of half term to reflect on our achievements within this strand.
Children were awarded a certificate for showing respect either to themselves, others or their surroundings. Certificates were presented by the Aspire Ambassadors. Each year group did a short presentation on something they had learned or achieved linked to respect. There was a strong focus on pupil voice. We also heard from the Green Team, Rights Respecting Steering Group and the School Council. The school choir performed a song to close the assembly. We look forward to our next assembly based on Achieving Aisha!
