First we found out about the life cycle of a sunflower through our own internet research, pictures and videos.
Then we identified some sunflowers in the garden.
Once we found them we decided what stage of life each sunflower was in. Some were flowing, but some were dying and drooping.
We looked in the head of the sunflower and found the seeds.
We tasted some sunflower seeds (from the shop) and make a picture using the seeds from the garden.
We learnt that living things die but often give seeds for new life.
