We had a wonderful time this term celebrating Bonfire Night with a variety of fun, creative and fine motor activities. We made fireworks using tissue paper and cardboard tubes, which we then used to dance along to different types of music. As the tempo increased, we jumped up like fireworks and spun around like Catherine wheels.
We also explored different musical instruments to recreate the sounds of fireworks, copying and layering sounds to build up the volume and excitement. Our creative activities included painting, chalk drawings and mark making in shaving foam and coloured salt!
